PAT testing is an important part of your Health and Safety Policy, ensuring that staff are protected from faulty electrical equipment. We will carry out a thorough examination of all electrical equipment and appliances, ensuring that they are safe for continued use.

The testing involves a visual inspection to identify any damage and we also check that it is being used in the correct environment. We then carry out earth continuity checks to make sure that there is continuity between the plug and the device. An insulation check is also carried out to check cables for faults or weaknesses. We then place a sticker on each device that states when the inspection took place and who completed it. PAT testing is hugely important and so, we are here to make sure that you comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) whilst also helping you to reduce risks to life and your property.
